Line of Fire : Peter Krause et Hope Davis au cœur de la nouvelle série NBC
Peter Krause and Hope Davis star in Line of Fire, the new NBC drama expected for the American fall season. The network has scheduled the premiere for Monday, September 21, 2026, at 10 PM Eastern Time.
The pilot will air on NBC before being available on Peacock the following day. For the French audience, no local availability has been announced: it’s best to stick to this American schedule for now.
A family working on the edge of danger
Line of Fire follows the Hollingsworths, a family with several members in American protective services. Mike, played by Peter Krause, works for the Secret Service. Jane, portrayed by Hope Davis, is a U.S. Marshal.
The story begins with an investigation that pulls this family into a dangerous conspiracy. NBC describes the series as a blend of action thriller and family saga: the job brings the characters closer to risk, while their private connections complicate every decision.
The series thus maintains a clear promise without revealing all its intrigue before the pilot. The murder at the heart of the case and the resulting tensions provide the framework; the rest will be revealed on screen.
Peter Krause and Hope Davis surrounded by an already identified cast
The Krause-Davis duo is at the center of the project, but NBC has already confirmed several faces around them. Kat Cunning plays Clare, the couple’s daughter, an FBI agent. Taylor Bloom plays Russ, also in the Secret Service.
Tommy O’Brien completes the sibling group as Mike “Micah” Hollingsworth Jr. Charlie Barnett is also part of the announced cast. This distribution gives a real place to the family dynamic, rather than reducing the series to a simple weekly investigation.
Peter Krause thus returns in a patriarch role facing a field he knows professionally. Hope Davis counters with a character placed in another service, which immediately opens several perspectives on the same case.
A trailer already online before the launch
NBC released the official trailer on August 20. The first images set the tone for the series and introduce the Hollingsworths at the moment when a criminal case directly impacts their surroundings.
The airing takes place just after the launch of season 30 of The Voice on NBC, according to the schedule announced by the network. This time slot gives Line of Fire immediate exposure, without presuming the future of its programming.
The trailer already allows for spotting the axis that connects the characters: their jobs push them to protect strangers, but the case also forces them to question how far they can preserve their own family. It is this link between the professional and the intimate that the series must establish from the pilot.
The date of September 21 will thus be the first true test for this new Monday night appointment. Between Peter Krause, Hope Davis, and an entire family involved in protective services, Line of Fire has a more precise identity than its very generic title might suggest.
Broadcast and casting information can be found on the official NBC presentation.
