The Bigdil is coming back for a second season and there will be changes!

The return of Bigdil on RMC Story promises to be more spectacular than ever. Season 2, which has been filming since June 23, 2025, promises XXL new features with crazier games, bigger prizes, and themed shows. Vincent Lagaf and his team have clearly listened to the critics to offer an improved version of the cult game from the 2000s.
A XXL Bigdil with increased resources
Exit the Citรฉ du Cinรฉma, the game has moved to larger sets at Plaine Saint-Denis. 40 episodes were ordered with an increased budget that shows on screen. “We’re making an XXL version,” confirms Stรฉphane Sallรฉ de Chou, the boss of RMC Story.
The prizes are getting higher-end: โฌ40,000 won in the first two recordings, cars worth โฌ22,000, and higher-value gambling games (โฌ5,000 for the first game). The game catalog has been expanded to avoid repetition. More spectacular and risky challenges
Each show will now include an outdoor game, often as a highlight. On the first day of filming, the contestants tried a
reverse bungee jump from 10 meters high. The production even hired a permanent emergency nurse! Another practical new feature: the contestants now wear name tags with their first names. “I had trouble remembering them,” admits Vincent Lagaf. The Gafettes have also changed the way they present the Top 3 gift boxes.
Themed shows to make an impression
Each episode will now have its own special: Christmas, grandmothers, dogs, Japan… A strategy inspired by hits like Dancing with the Stars. “In season 1, there were no promises,” analyzes the boss of RMC Story. The first show to be filmed will be the back-to-school special, featuring a special guest: Magic System, whose hit “Magic in the Air” has become the show’s anthem. Romain, Ramuncho’s pianist son, will also join the musical team.
Bill, more animated than ever Viewers’ favorite alien is getting a major technical makeover: 400 animation pointscompared to 70 previously! “He has magical powers,” jokes Gilles Vautier, who plays Bill.
Proof of his success: the Bill plush toys were selling like hot cakes from the first day of filming, costing โฌ45 each. Belgian fans even came with a whole busload to watch the recordings! A blind test that finally deliversVincent Lagaf admits: “In season 1, it was bad.” The Top 3 musical has been completely redesigned with real musicians and gift boxes that remain open. Romain’s jazzy versions of hits should add an original touch.
Viewers can expect a great show with the planned mechanical specials and stunts. “We’ve set the bar very high,” promises Lagaf. Clearly, the new generation of Bigdil still has a bright future ahead of it!
